I loved the easy access to Abbey Park Playground, which was just a short stroll away, and St Benedict's Church, only a few steps from my stay, making my city explorations delightful and stress-free. the staff were friendly and accommodating, which added a nice touch to my trip as a solo traveler. The hotel provides a clean space with the essentials, perfect for a single traveler like me, but the noise from the bar area could be a bit distracting at times.

The room was spacious and clean, with a fantastic view of the Abbey and Tor. The mattress was a bit firm, but I slept really well. It did get warm, but they provided a fan. Great tea and coffee facilities, and the towels were nice and fluffy. Just keep in mind the noise from the pub below, especially on weekends. If you're into a lively atmosphere, it's perfect!
